Research

My research interests address the design, development and evaluation of large-scale complex systems, with a particular focus on employing the agent-oriented paradigm to engineer emergent functionalities of heterogeneous (cyber-physical-social) systems.  Since 1997 I am with “Lucian Blaga” Univ. of Sibiu, excepting the work done with KU Leuven (2001-2003)  and DFKI (2013-2016) as guest researcher.
